On Friday, February 8th, twelve 7th and 8th graders represented St. Mary Parish School in the Dominican High School Academic Challenge. They used their talents as they answered content knowledge and application questions. Prizes were awarded to both schools and individual students.
Congratulations to our own Joseph Fellows who took first place in the 8th grade Art category!! He received a trophy and a $1,000.00 scholarship to Dominican High School.
The Art students were Libby Phillips and Joseph Fellows. English competitors were Michelle Pohl and Madelyn Murphy. Jacob Newman and Alex Ash competed in Math. Katey Burkhart and Jessica Wierzchowski competed in Religious studies. Science students were Courtney Mehring and Taylor Seidl. Kyra Porter and Joseph McAsey competed in Social Studies competition.
