That land was once the bed of Deer Creek Pond and was over 200 feet wide at one time. Since this pond was filled at the time of the Village of Bay View, this land is unstable. Beulah Brinton Community Center is slowly sinking into the ground. Any buildings on this site will suffer the same results. Because the U.S. Army Base was only one floor and was on the west end of the pond, it remained somewhat stable. Anything that is larger could have trouble with the unstable grounds. The minutes of the Village Board of the Village of Bay View testify to the nature of this ground surface. Before anything is to be built there, the ground must be tested to make sure that no more new buildings sink into the ground there.

I'm not sure what you're specifically referring to but trained professionals should be open to suggestions and constructive criticism. There's no doubt that officers put their lives on the line every day but they choose to be public servants. Open discourse and discussions with the public they serve can only strengthen their profession and increase their policing effectiveness. Therefore I disagree with your position.

Apparently neither Mr. Jensen nor D Doman have done their homework and researched the candidates, especially Obama. His previous blog was an obvious campaign smear. Why wait until election day to bring up something no one knew about back in September when the event supposedly happened? And it's based on a photograph. Rioting in the streets like the 60's if Obama isn't elected? C'mon Doman.

OK, I kind of walked in the room in the middle of a conversation, and while I think I am clear as to what MR. Jensen is /was saying ,I am just about completly lost as to what BV point is.He seems to clearly state that Jensen is out in left field and then gives us a site to go to for support , but when I went there is most clearly supports what Mr. Jensen was saying.

But no matter- BV clearly has his own problems. No matter what the final outcome of the 08 election turns out to be , we as a country are in for a ton of trouble.

Quite possibly without ever intending to do so, Obama & his wife have rather blaintly "let the cat out of the bag" as to how they really feel about this country. If he is elected, he is going to lead the country down a very dark road indeed.One thing he will deliver is , as his

slogan suggests, is CHANGE. What kind of change? That is a completly different question. Frankly, the country has already started to rot from within, he will only hasten the process. If hes does not gain control of the white house far to many of his supporters are , in all probability, going to spill out into the streets and we will be reliving the latter part of the 60s over again, but this time it will be with a greater vengence.

When ever driving my on the ice I carry a LifeHammer. It is a handy device that allows you break your windows in the event that you go through the ice and your power windows fail and the water pressure won't let you open the door.
